    Grand Canyon

This weekend we decided to go to Arizona to see Grand Canyon! We were so excited to see it, since it was one of our top priorities on our bucket lists. We drove 9 hours from Los Angeles and it was definitely worth it! We rented out camping equipment from lowergear.com, packed up the car and headed out on Friday afternoon. The drive was really long, but when it got dark, the stars illuminated the sky. It was gorgeous, especially before the moon, which was really low and huge, rose. The first night we planned on staying in a hotel, since we were going to get to Arizona pretty late.…

    San Diego Zoo

A couple of weekends ago we went back to San Diego, this time to spend the entire time at the zoo! The San Diego zoo is known for their pandas, so we were really excited to see those. So, we got into our car and drove two hours from Los Angeles to the iconic zoo. They are huge and look pretty friendly! We then made our way to the tigers, one…

    San Diego Road Trip

One weekend we decided to drive from Los Angeles, down to San Diego. Usually the drive about two hours long, making it the perfect day trip. The city is beautiful and it is a lot of fun to just walk around. The ride down took a little longer than expected. We hit a couple of car accidents along the way, so it took us more than three hours to drive down. Except for a foggy/smoggy part of the highway, the drive was really nice, right along the coastline. On a warm, pretty day, it must be even more gorgeous. By the time we got to San Diego, we were starving, so…

    Apple Picking

It’s the beginning of fall, which in America means it’s prime time for apple picking and other fun fall activities! I’ve never been apple picking and I was told I was definitely missing out on lots of fun. So, on the first fall weekend, we got up bright and early (about 6am) and headed to The Big Apple farm in Wrentham, Massachusetts. It was beautiful weather! It was chilly enough so that you could wear a cute plaid outfit (which we all did, of course), but it was also sunny and the orchard just looked gorgeous. We got to the farm a little before 10 and already there were lots…
